For me, training is about creating harmony between dogs and their people — whether that’s building everyday manners, addressing behavioral challenges, or preparing for a competition. My goal is always the same: to help dogs feel fulfilled and understood, while giving owners the clarity and tools to enjoy life together.
I grew up with dogs, but Paisley, a cattle dog mix I received just before my 11th birthday, was the one who pushed me to develop as a handler. Lumina followed a few years later and became an even greater teacher, showing me the importance of respecting a dog’s temperament, recognizing risk, and approaching every challenging dog with care and understanding. These lessons still guide my approach to high-energy and complex dogs today.
I began my journey in dog sports with trick training and agility, exploring the ways dogs can move, think, and problem-solve. Disc dog quickly stood out to me, and after years of dedicating time and passion to learning and competition, it has become my favorite sport to teach. The creativity, athleticism, and joy it brings make every lesson exciting, and it’s the same principle I apply in behavior work: channeling energy into something positive and meaningful.
Countless hours attending seminars, collaborating with other trainers, and immersing myself in the industry have equipped me with a diverse set of tools and methods. This flexibility allows me to approach each dog as a unique individual and meet their specific needs with confidence.
When you start working with me, you gain more than a trainer — you gain your biggest cheerleader. My priority is to make sure you and your dog feel supported, understood, and seen. My mission is to build a community of people dedicated to enriching their dogs’ lives, both at home and out on the competition field.
